This is seriously disturbing, but amazing at the same time. I have to say I'm glad I didn't end up reading this before Christmas, as all the Santa-related movies would have been a lot harder to watch.
You seriously have a gift for writing dark and twisted things that evoke feelings of pity and compassion for the main characters. Very well done. I'm not sure this vision of Santa will ever get out of my head now... :/

Okay, so I'm a bad, bad twin for not reviewing for ages, but I am going to make up for it in the next few days by reviewing everything that I've missed!! *tacklehugs* Forgive me?
So anyway, as for the story itself, I don't know if you remember what I said to you on msn when I first read it, but I absolutely love how you've taken a traditionally happy, pleasant holiday and turned it into this masterpiece of horror, and the careful manipulation of symbolism to create a totally unique twist on Christmas. Like I said, it's awesome!
And the way it ends is just perfect ^^ It circles around, and then just comes to a sudden halt...like the end of life, or the end of everything you thought you knew about Santa and Christmas. It's perfect! *hugs* You have every reason to be proud of this story, Sarah!!

Okay, so I read this last night when there was no comments and now there's 11 0_0.....
Anyways, I liked it. I could picture it perfectly. Santa is scary in this story...now we know why he loves children so much. He lures them in with wonderful presents.
